Course Description

This OSHA compliant course is designed for individuals needing to learn the skills needed for safely operating a forklift prior to becoming certified by their current or prospective employer. It includes classroom instruction and supervised hands-on operation of a forklift.

Notes

This class may be held for your team onsite at your location, or at one of Georgia Piedmont Technical College's campuses in Newton or DeKalb County.
 

  • Must be 18 years of age or older to participate in training
  • Wearing closed toe shoes is required
  • Dress appropriately for weather as forklifts do operate inside and outside of building for training
